H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC Polices and Rules
Membership Agreement
By registering for the selected membership, you affirmatively consent to H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC charging your credit card or other payment method on a periodically recurring basis (e.g. MONTHLY, EVERY 6 MONTHS, or ANNUALLY), unless you cancel your membership before the end of your current membership period. All memberships will renew automatically at the end of the membership period at the current rate, unless you cancel your membership before the end of your current membership period. Members are responsible for ensuring their billing information is up to date with adequate funds to pay memberships. Failed auto-payments may be subject to a $25 fee.
Membership Cancellation
Membership cancellations must be submitted in writing to a H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC owner in person or via email to info@hotbarbell.com no later than 5 days prior to the end of the current membership period. In accordance with California law, You, the buyer, may cancel any membership purchase at any time prior to the midnight of the fifth business day of H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC after the date of this agreement, excluding Sundays and holidays. In the event that you cancel your membership before the end of your membership renewal date, H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC will not return any portion of the membership fee provided and you will be entitled to continue utilizing H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC until the end of your membership period. H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC reserves the right to terminate your access to H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC membership at any time, without notice. Membership cancellation may be subject to a cancellation fee of $200 if the membership is under contract that has not expired.
Membership may be frozen or cancelled in the case of death, military service, a physician verified condition that alters the members ability to use the equipment and facilities, or if the member moves more than 25 miles from the facility in accordance with California Civil Code. Cancelations of this nature may be eligible for a prorated refund for the remaining membership period and subject to a $100 or $50 cancellation fee.
Use of H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC Facilities
Members will receive 24/7 access to the H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC facilities and equipment via the door code with their membership. The door code may change periodically, and members will need to contact H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC for the new door code to access the facilities. Members or guest found to be sharing the door code with unauthorized individuals will have their membership terminated without refund and may be subject to a $200 fee for changing the door code. Equipment will be first come, first serve, however, members are encouraged to work together when equipment is limited. Members are responsible for returning weights, bars, and other equipment to their designated areas after use. TACKY IS ONLY ALLOWED IN THE DESIDENATED ATLAS STONE AREA. In short, observe gym etiquette. Members found to be not adhering to the above etiquette or damaging equipment through inappropriate use may be subject to a $25 cleaning fee or be responsible for replacement of the equipment.
H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC has many specialty pieces of equipment. If a member or guest is unfamiliar with a piece of equipment, then the member or guest should ask for instruction on how to use the equipment from H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC staff prior to the equipment use. H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC is not responsible for bodily injury or damage to personal property from the use of H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC equipment.
H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC reserves the right to limit access to the facilities and equipment for filming, cleaning, or private events without notice.
Outside Equipment
H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to limit or restrict the use of outside equipment in the facilities. Members that wish to store equipment at H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC must obtain permission from the H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC staff prior to storing the equipment, and understand that H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC is not liable for any damage to this equipment if used by other members or guests.
Conduct
H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC does not permit and will not tolerate any inappropriate conduct. Such conduct includes, without limitation, using loud, abusive, offensive, insulting, or demeaning language, lewd conduct, or any conduct that harasses or is bothersome to members, guests, or any of the H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC employees. H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC does not permit smoking or the use of illegal drugs in the facilities.
Violation of Polices or Rules
Any member or guest that violates any of the H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC Polices or Rules will be asked to stop or leave. H.O.T. Barbell Club LLC reserves the right to terminate that person’s membership. Contracted memberships may be subject to the early termination fee if the membership is terminated for violation of the Polices or Rules.
